A. B. Wade was born in the great state of Texas. Growing up, he was surrounded by a love of learning thanks to his science-teaching mother and school counseling father. While most kids were reading novels, he found himself captivated by encyclopedias and textbooks, fueling his curiosity about the world around him.

As A. B. has grown older, he has developed a passion for fiction, but he always make sure to balance it out with plenty of non-fiction. He has a deep love for nature and personifying all the creatures and objects he comes across – yes, even rocks! A. B. finds inspiration for the stories he creates from the world around him, drawing further creativity from the nightly storytelling routines he shares with his two children. His lovely wife often jokes that she has three children, thanks to his childlike outlook on life.

A. B. truly believes that children are the greatest teachers, and writing through their eyes helps him remember that life is a wonderful, fun-filled adventure. A.
